About the course

At New River College we aim to deliver a high-quality science education that provides the foundation for understanding the world through the specific disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Students in Key Stage 3 study the Entry Level Certificate in Science. This gives students the opportunity to achieve an Entry Level qualification while developing their scientific learning in preparation for GCSE. Learning is practical and student-led.
