At Key Stage 3, students get involved in a range of sports that develop personal fitness and promote an active, healthy lifestyle. These sports include basketball, football, table tennis, hockey, rugby, badminton and health-related fitness.
Students also have the opportunity to gain a Young Leader Award, which is a great introduction to leadership, teaching learners how to organise and lead small games and activities that can be used as part of uniformed organisation, community club or sport club sessions. The course enables learners to develop leadership skills such as organisation, communication, and teamwork, as well as build confidence and self-esteem as they take on the responsibility of leading their peers and/or younger children.
