Following the success of our Work Experience and Careers activities, the week commencing Monday 10th July is our 'Building Cultural Capital' week at NRC Secondary.
A number of trips and activities will be taking place to support students to develop their knowledge and experience of a range of cultures and traditions within our local and wider community.
- Monday 10th July - Tastes from around the World
- Tuesday 11th July - Artistic Perspectives - including exploring the London's creative skyline and immersive art experiences at the Twist Museum that looks the power of your mind when experiencing the world around you and your brain interprets reality.
- Wednesday 12th July - Science and History on our doorstep that changed the trajectory of our world and daily living
- Thursday 14th July - Being confident in the world around us: developing orienteering skills to build confidence in navigating our local environments, in preparation for the Duke of Edinburgh expedition
- Friday 15th July - Structured Conversations day - mentoring meetings with parents around end of year reports and review of targets for the year ahead
- Monday 17th July - End of term reward trips
- Tuesday 18th July - Sports Day and New Rive College Achievement and Celebration afternoon
- Wednesday 19th July - Leavers Breakfast and preparation for September.
