Dear parents and carers, this year we had lots of interesting and different activities for our children to enjoy and experiment different activities.
We hope that this will encourage them to carry on studying and dreaming of what their future lives might look like.
Hi to all of our parents and carers across New River College.
Jo-anne is inviting you all to a NRC Parents Forum on 10th February at 11:00 in the Arsenal.
Here at Primary we are organising exciting activities for our students to enjoy the end of Winter Term, celebrate Christmas, and also giving key dates to ensure a smooth beginning of Spring Term in January 2020.
A letter will be given to parents and carers with invitations to special activities in school (Christmas Show included!), Christmas Dinner, among other exciting activities to bring families together.
In the mean time, have a look at the calendar we’ve prepared and if you have any questions, we will be more than happy to help.
Also, as a friendly reminder, please have in mind that these January dates are set, and should we change them, we would inform you in writing.
Have a wonderful break and see you on Tuesday 7th January on structured conversations.
We are delighted to share the news that two of our members of staff have been nominated for relevant awards in education.
Chris Mozo, Lead Learning Assistant in KS3, has been nominated for London HLTA of the year (Regional Award).
And Jo-Anne Lee, our Inclusion Manager, has been nominated for Partnership with Parents (National Award).
We are looking forward to the moment when we get the results for each nomination!
Whatever the outcome, we are proud of the hard work that our members of staff do.
Just a note to remind you of the bake sale on Jeans for Genes Day on Friday.
The children will be baking over the next couple of days in their class groups!
We will be outside the school gates with baked goods from 11.50am. Please
come along and pick-up a sweet treat for the weekend 😊

We wish you all a great summer.
Hi all! It’s been a fantastic academic year. We are very proud of all the hard work and progress made by our pupils.
We wish you all a relaxing summer break, and we hope to see you in September.
July’s newsletter, we have included some key dates for the last week of term and first school days of September.
We are also sad to say goodbye to four members of staff, but we are happy that they are achieving other goals and we wish them all the best in this new chapter.
It is that time of the year again!
Summer time is officially almost here!
For us in New River College it is important to create nice memories in the school for our pupils, members of staff and community of parents/ carers and professionals.
We are organizing a
Summer Fair 2019 that we hope will help create those beautiful moments, specially for our dear students.
We hope to see you on Tuesday 16th July 2019 from 12:00 – 4:00 PM.
We will have burgers, face painting, splash the teacher, horses, a bouncy castle, and more!
It’s very important for children to develop solid relationships with their parents and for parents to spend quality time with their little ones.
Hence why we’ve come up with the idea of creating a
Family Friday every week!
We have different activities planned and options available for you to choose which one you prefer!
And, we will have some breakfast available too!
We are looking forward to see those happy faces all over 🙂
See you then!
It’s been an exciting academic year so far, and we’ve celebrated our pupils progress throughout the year with different school trips and cool activities on site.
We are now on the last term, enjoying the sun and planning cool activities to enjoy with the children and their families!
Newsletter for June 2019.
