Key Stage 3 PE

PE KS3PE activities are an important part of the school day at NRC KS3 and a range of off-site afternoon sessions provide pupils with opportunities to engage in a variety of sports and outward bound classes.

Sessions include; indoor climbing at the Cast Climbing Centre in Haringey, canoeing, speed boating and kayaking at the Islington Boat Club, ice skating and trampolining at the SOBEL leisure centre, and football and badminton at the Finsbury Leisure Centre.

These sessions accommodate all abilities and are supplemented in Science and Lifeskills lessons with pupils learning about health and fitness, exercise and rest, the human body, and healthy eating and nutrition.

PE at Elthorne Road 

PE plays a key role in the school day at NRC KS3. Students are offered a range of off-site afternoon sessions which provide pupils with opportunities to engage in a variety of sport and physical activity.

Sessions include; health and wellbeing workouts, football at the Arsenal Hub, multi-sports at Talacre and boxing at the Islington Boxing Academy.

These sessions accommodate all abilities and are supplemented in Science, PSCHE and Foodskills lessons with pupils learning about health and fitness, exercise and rest, the human body, and healthy eating and nutrition.
