At New River College we work in partnership with parents/carers and families. We know that this is the best way to ensure that your child fulfils their potential during the time that they are with us.
We offer many opportunities for parents/carers to come into school and are looking at how we might extend these opportunities further. We have had successful, charity events, coffee morning and workshops. We invite representatives from organisations such as CAMHS, IFIT, Islington Healthy schools, Educational Phycologist and other outreach services to facilitate some of theses sessions.
As we value your input and opinion we will ask you to complete a questionnaire giving us feedback on how we can support you further.
We also run a parent/carer surgery where professionals will be available to help to answer your questions or sign post you in the right direction.
You will be invited to termly meetings to discuss your child’s progress with their teacher’s/Support staff to set new targets for their learning and also their personal development.
