NRC Primary Invites all Parents and Carers to Attend Joint Reading Sessions
To support your child’s reading, we would like to invite you to read with your child. This will take place every Friday from 9.15-9.45am in your child’s classroom from Friday 8th December, 2017.
During the session, your child will choose a book for you to enjoy together. We will also be providing ideas and ways that you can support your child’s reading at home. Staff will be around to model introducing new books and will have a selection of questions that you can ask whilst reading with your child.
If you have any questions, your child’s class teacher will be happy to help.
Hope to see you there

Development at the new NRC Primary site at Dowrey Street is progressing rapidly. The building, which will be shared between NRC and The Bridge Integrated Learning Space, is due for completion in May. We are really excited about this new facility and the opportunities it will provide for our young people. Planning for the final stages of the build and the move is ongoing. The architects recently held a workshop for pupils during which they were able to have their say on some of the remaining design decisions, including colour schemes for classrooms.
Progress on site at the beginning of December:
